Which is more important for weight loss: nutrition or exercise? The answer is neither. The most crucial factor for weight loss success is the mindset. These self-limiting thoughts do nothing but hinder your results.
Before you try the next 30-day workout challenge or the new diet craze, you must focus on controlling these thoughts. You can overcome these negative thoughts by using a strategy called ‘Green Light Thoughts.’ Sports psychologist Brian Cain created the process. It’s a pretty simple idea; place green stickers in places you visit frequently. So, for example, bathroom mirror, work desk, car dashboard, etc. Every time you pass a green sticker, you have to think positively about why you should reach your goal. Over time, thinking positive thoughts will lead to a more confident you. This confidence will lead to better workout and nutrition adherence. Think Green.
